feels very silly to review something like this, but kensuke ushio's work is always worth checking out. he genuinely is such a fantastic composer, and as expected, many of these tracks are worth listening to on their own. "in the pool" and "Bomb" are tracks so fantastic that i can fully separate them from the film.
pretty much exactly what i expected and what i would've wanted out of a new drug bug EP. lovely stuff as always.

alt-country and slowcore is a combination i've been looking for for a minute now and i'm very pleased that it sounds as good as i hoped. beautiful album.
there's something about this album that perfectly encapsulates being american- not in the weird, nationalistic sense, but just... how it feels to exist here, right now.
