no skips. this album is so addictive. exponentially improves my day without fail. almost better than brat, i murmur tentatively. Plus the sing-song, almost naive vocal delivery is genius I think.
listened to this album at midnight on a whim about 9 months ago, having been skeptical previously, and the lyrics to 'talk talk' clipped me round the head with pretty much my exact feelings, reflected back at me in this endlessly addictive, playful way. safe to say I didn't look back. When I last listened to vulnicura in public, I got off the bus two stops too late. I don't know of another album that so consistently gives me such an intense emotional experience. Its ache will mess with your insides in a very direct, articulate way. it'll grab you firmly and force your head deep down into the still, dark waters of grief.
this album is very sugary but i feel no guilt for spamming it daily, for over a week. i like its personality.
