Another consistently great album from her. I think this one is much more rooted in classical music and theatre in terms of the production and that matches her dreary vocal really well. Not my favourite so far but certainly one I'll revisit a lot. God knows why the album is called this but I quite like it.

Still a good album, but a step back from her first 2 records. There are a few production choices, mainly on the opening track, that I'm not a fan of. Another brilliant Fiona Apple album. I'm beggining to really understand why her songwriting is so revered and celebrated. I think I prefer this to her debut. A rock album should never feel lifeless. Unfortunately the lack of any life really makes this album a drag for me. While Room On Fire is refined and succint this is a bloated and underdeveloped mess that gives me the exact fatigue I get from listening to The Strokes' 2 singles from their upcoming album. 2 or 3 good songs here.
