This album has the best drum composition I've heard in a long time, it blends so well with the instrumentals and the vocals.
I only discovered this album a week ago, and it has quickly grown to be a favourite of mine. This is a nice and mellow album, with a few heavier tracks mixed within. The instrumental work is amazing, and Dolores' voice is incredible. My personal favourite from this album is "Ridiculous thoughts", This song is amazing in my opinion.
Simply put, this album is amazing.
This is one of the cleanest albums I've listened to, it is amazing. Track to track you can feel the amount of quality. Personally, I think that the final four tracks of this album are the best, but the first four make it what it is.
I can listen to this album for hours and not get bored.
All Caps is this album's top track in my opinion, the sampling the groove makes it such a good listen.
I was first introduced to this compilation by my girlfriend at the time, oh my god.
This is the best compilation I have had the pleasure of listening too. It starts off with "William, It Was Really Nothing", which is a brilliant opener. The rest of it is brilliant, with songs like "This Night Has Opened My Eyes" and "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now". This comp has more melancholy type of feel compared to their other albums and compilations, though this isn't ... read more
Peach Pit is my favourite English speaking band, I love their style.
This album is their first, and their best. There is so much quality in the songs and they all have such a nice groove to it.
The majority of the tracks in this album follow a nice groove, until Not Me. That is the turning point in the album where the songs become more mellow and chilled out, finally ending with the slowest and consequently the most depressing track in the album.
As a drummer, my personal favourite track is ... read more
ACAね carried this song so hard.. I hate that they invited Mori on for a feature as her 'music' is absolutely diabolical.
There are some parts to this song that I enjoy, but most of it pales in comparison to their other work. ZTMY has a lot more potential than with this song, I was disappointed.
This is my favourite of the two ZTMY albums, it has many great tracks and few ones that I dislike.
Unlike ぐされ, this album tends to keep to the same genre. Which is good in my opinion as it leaves less to be disliked.
The instrumentals on this album are some of my favourite, I am a drummer so these tracks were like a godsend to me. There is loads of variation in the instrumentals in some of the tracks, some having violins, some having piano, and some having neither. All the tracks flow ... read more
ZTMY is probably my favourite band OAT, so far that is. I think they have progressed a lot more from this album.
Some of the tracks in this album really hit. But then the rest seems to fall flat, there are good parts to each of the tracks, and then parts that ruin them.
ACAね has one of the best voices I've ever heard in music, her vocals really work well with this album (not to mention ZTMY's other projects too) and they are complimented really well by most of the tracks.
