Peach Pit's debut is fresh and full of character. Through unique guitar playing and excellent songwriting, they prove themselves to be more than just another indie band. quick thoughts: some real flashes of brilliance in this album, "Alrighty Aphrodite" and "Private Presley" among them. i don't like that "Tommy's Party" is the closer, it drags on for so long and detracts from how amazing its predecessor was. the sound of this album also can get a tad tiring throughout. alas, the 2010s indie curse.
