While I prefer The Truth is Among Us, this one was still really solid and still worth a listen. I love mixtape era Lupe, it just has that early to mid 2000's hip hop if that makes since.

I see why Lupe loves this guy now. I listened to Black Hole Suprette a couple weeks ago and liked it but nothing above that. So I came into this thinking it was fine, boy was I wrong. This was amazing. Dense lyrics with substance, fun performances all around, fun albeit simplistic production and now youve got yourself a masterpiece. The Impossible Kid has grown to be one of my favorite albums of all time. Listen to it, I can't recommend it enough.

Boy oh boy was I excited for this, while I wish there were more tracks, I still loved what this had to offer. SOS is one of the best tracks of the year and High Note was pretty fucking great. Nothing really bad I have to say about this.

The calming beat is so fucking dope. Lupe flows through this nicely and it kind of reminds me of Samurai even though this came out in 2023. I still love this song either way.

Update: So I listened to it, and holy fuck I'd rather listen to Lasers. To start, I noticed that some of the tracks are from Lupe's "Friend of the People" mixtape which I thought was a decent mixtape. Eminem sure as shit puts up a show for us all. I loved what he does on this, I'd argue this was peak Eminem and his best album to date.
