If Foo Fighters’ Everlong and Smashing Pumpkins’ Disarm had a daughter, it would be this song.
I still stand by that the Foo Fighters at their worst don’t have a full blown stinker, but coming off of But Here We Are, this was a big disappointment. Asking For a Friend is easily the highlight with Of All People and Caught in the Echo being solid. The rest of the track list outside of some cool riffs range from listenable but filler to not very good and felt like wasted potential, and the distorted production didn’t help.
