Shinedown almost goes full Dad Rock with their latest album.

Personally, I have never been a big fan of their Pop-Rock/Alt. Rock stuff which is what their sound has been shifting more towards since Threat To Survival. Still I will say, Attention Attention was a decent attempt of that sound and there, they even implemented the electronics with the Hard-rock sound pretty well.

They did it. They really topped Cryogen. They really rolled out two amazing singles back to back. They really released an actually cool Prog Rock song without corny lyrics.
The Wow signal might just be their first Green album since Black Holes and Revelations which is pretty insane.

I find it funny how the band memed so much for not releasing new music managed to release a new single and announce their new album before Blueballs Benjamin but Here We Are.

After a 1.5 year long edging period, they are finally Breaking The Silence and releasing Something Wicked. While it's not as good as Awaken, it's nothing less than a banger too. "So many nice release today" I say in my previous review... I forgot this was also dropping.

Arguably their worst Album. Hopes were low but this went even lower than Medicine at midnight. It does have a few highs but the lows are pretty bad.

A big gripe I have with this album the mix. I guess they were trying to go for the Garage Rock/Noise sound, but ended up making Dave sound like he's recording from a Potato. The mix being fucked has been a common issue with Foo Fighter ... read more
