I hate how so many artists are grouped into the singer-songwriter, folk, and indie genres when their music ends up being so much more. Can we make a “what-it-feels-like-to-be-human” or “human experiences” genre?

I have been listening to abby powledge for a little over a year now, and honestly, I’ve begun to feel bored with her music. Her lyrics have begun to feel repetitious and the guitar that she uses on every one of her songs has made her music unbelievably mundane. Each song has begun to blend together and at this point why even make more songs if they’re going to sound the same as your songs from over a year ago?
This is such a good template for a punk rock song. We saw her ability in to delve into the genre with pressure, I wish she would have fully committed here.
