Very experimental, a great level to the production from the peggler peggling the production studio with his Peggy beats. Lots of aspects of this album is awesome but there are some unfortunately weak parts of this album. Eight dollars ain't much and i'm broker than yesterday and tomorrow. And the week after this one. The start of Kanye's rapping career after many people had doubted his ability for lyricism. He was already a highly touted producer but he wanted his shot in rapping, and he crushed it.
The chipmunk soul production, the explosive drums and fresh lyricism that make you feel on top. good prices and good listening. I really dig this albums weird and unique way of production. there are some really high highs like on gameset and the entirety of good price. I really really like good price. sarah's vocals are great for that production and beat but the lows aren't actually too low. it's not obviously the best thing out there right now as this is 12 years old, but it is not bad by any means. this is a cool album.
