Steven Wilson - The Overview
80

Really cool conceptual album that takes you on a journey

Playboi Carti - MUSIC
45

Some of the songs are decent modern trap and a good bit of the production is fire most of the album is pretty shit though honestly, imo its better than wlr but he’s gone so downhill since die lit, favorites are RATHER LIE and GOOD CREDIT

Porter Robinson - Nurture
75

Super engaging project with lots of really cool textures and sounds with high blissful points and soft piano ballads throughout, really great messages conveyed in the lyrics too

Nettspend - BAD ASS F*CKING KID
25

Absolute ass but turned up at his show in Richmond so maybe I understand the hype

Slowdive - Souvlaki
80

I first listened to it years ago and was pretty unimpressed but revisited recently and although there's a few uninteresting moments this record is insanely beautiful and Alison is probably one of my favorite songs

Dazegxd - vKiSS
75

Really enjoyed this one and love that he's said he's gotten stylistic influences from jsr games, everything is super groove-able and my favorites are blame and emotion engine

Quadeca - From Me to You
55

Serves as a good stepping stone that shows the progression to where Quadeca is at as an artist now but never really enjoyed this one too much beyond its production value, Sisyphus is really great though

Jordana & TV Girl - Summer's Over
65

Pretty good, I really like Sweet to Dream but most of it didn't really leave an impression

Levi Ryan - soviet winter
65

A bit unimpressive compared to operation wandering soul but I enjoyed most of it and the production is still really nice in songs like tomorrow was the war and digital holocaust.

my bloody valentine - loveless
55

Going into it I expected to like the whole project a lot more than I actually did, there are still some really beautiful tracks like Sometimes and I Only Said and I like the vibe of the whole project some of the tracks are just unmemorable and not my cup of tea

Vanilla - Origin
90

My go to instrumental chill album, inspired by Nujabes W

Tommy Richman - COYOTE
50

I actually really enjoy Tommy's older work, I wished he took more time on this compared to his older albums as it feels like here he was just desperately trying to hold on to the hype of his singles by just putting something out that's not really fleshed out

Levi Ryan - operation wandering soul
75

Production is the high point here and compliments his vocals really well, the vibe stays consistent throughout and is a solid listen

jssr - Dopamine
70

It feels like jssr really comes into his own and solidifies his unique style in this album with rich jumpy synth filled production that feels really satisfying to listen to, super consistent but short eight track run that doesn't miss a beat, never been the biggest fan of the distorted vocals but there's a lot of harmony with the instrumentals and his vocal style that makes it enjoyable

Ghost - Meliora
85

Love the musical atmosphere and world building Ghost creates with each following record, Meliora being my personal favorite. Everything seems so meticulously placed to create an awesome rock-opera of Satan worshipping missionaries.

Gorillaz - Plastic Beach
90

Empire Ants alone make this one for me, but the album as a whole is still a must listen, Gorillaz / Damon Albarn's ability to take multiple ideas and genres of music and combine it into one cohesive project with the help of very carefully selected features and still produce a sound that is very much Gorillaz is a talent like no other.

Nujabes - Luv(sic) Hexalogy
100

I could listen to these six tracks on repeat forever, indescribably comforting and beautiful

Nujabes - Modal Soul
95

From front to back one of the most pleasing album experiences, Feather is my comfort song and fills me with life

Lil Yachty - Let's Start Here.
75

Liked this album a ton on first listen, he definitely solidified himself as a fantastic genre-bending musician with this record with a ton of psychedelic rock influences unlike anything else he's released, it seems like he REALLY took his time to replicate that sound and put his own personal touches over it

Quadeca - I Didn't Mean to Haunt You
95

Quadeca goes from hit or miss internet rap to an infinitely cool concept album with an awesome sound that really left an impression on me. He perfectly captures exactly the kind of vibe he's trying to deliver.
