I just listened to this album for the first time after having only listened to Get got, and jesus this album did not disappoint. This might be one of the most fun to listen albums I've ever heard. The production goes absolutely hard on this album. I genuinely thought I was going to come out of this project thinking it was overrated.
Cool Miku sample, and I actually enjoy Kill Bill's verse a decent bit on the song but Rav's verse honestly felt kind of horrid on this song. Rav's voice doesn't really fit this beat honestly, and their voice just kind of annoys me on this song. Good message but the song failed to deliver anything extremely great.
This album has an amazing tracklist, very genre-blending and experimental songs, and honestly a couple of my favourite songs from 2025. Danny brown is an amazing artist and this is some extremely great work from him. Also trans rights are cool🔥
Probably one of the best experimental hip-hop albums of all time. Danny and Peggy's voice compliment eachother really well, the production is amazing, and the album goes hard the entire way through.
Genuinely one of the best rap albums of the 2020s. Some of the best rapping, production, and themes of the last 5 years.
Bad habit is very overrated (still a great song) but the album is pretty amazing and has some great shit
The best of Jhariah's work to come out so far. Jhariah has been working on music for so long, and it is starting to pay off. This is a great album, and probably has almost all the best songs in their discography. If you want to get in to Jhariah's music, this is the album to start with. Catchy songs, good production, and pretty good vocals. I wish for Jhariah to keep improving, they used to be my favourite artist and if they come back with something better than this they might gain ... read more
This is where Jhariah's music started becoming good. This has some of my favourite Jhariah songs on it Personally, the live version of To take for granted is probably my favourite, but the rest of the EP holds up pretty well.
Okay EP, but the old songs from The great tale (Except for the piano version of Reverse in my opinion) and the remakes of the new songs on A beginners guide are just better.
The live versions of the songs are pretty decent, but the Acapella songs are just kind of bloat
This is a pretty okay debut album, but Jhariah didn't know how to produce a good song at this point. Not so bad, Sunsets, and The Great tale were the three songs that stand out to me the most and are actually pretty good in my opinion, but the rest are kind of just okay. The lyricism and Jhariah's actual voice are a lot worse than in their later works and overall, if you've listened to the rest of their discography, this might be worth a listen if you liked their other work.
