Paul McCartney - The Boys of Dungeon Lane

This guy might be going places, y'know?

David Bowie - The Next Day

As far as musical artists go, Bowie may have had the most longevity of them all, quality-wise.

Creedence Clearwater Revival - Bayou Country

Man, there's something about CCR that I can't stand for whatever reason. They're not a bad band, though.

The xx - I See You
65

It's alright. The production is luscious, but the melodies are consistently cliched and derivative, with none of the songs striking me in any particular way. A perfectly "pleasant", but ultimately un-special listen.

Really promising start, but after the first few tracks, the album doesn't have much left to offer.

Kings of Leon - Youth and Young Manhood
60

Kings of Ctrl C + Ctrl V.

Bon Jovi - Slippery When Wet
50

I'm sorry, but this just isn't for me in the slightest. Overblown, generic dad rock.

The Thrills - So Much for the City
60

It's alright, I suppose. Everything here has been done before, and it's been done much better.

Björk - Jóga

I don't normally review songs on here, but I re-listened to this the other day, and the first thing I thought was "This is the best thing I've ever heard". A song that speaks to me in ways I can't express.

Traffic - Traffic
65

Perfectly fine.

David Gray - White Ladder
80

How does Sail Away only have an 80 rating (before I upped the score)? That song is fantastic.

Björk - Selmasongs
90

Dancer in the Dark is something else.

Kanye West - Yeezus
80

I remember people hated Bound 2 when it came out, lmao. This album has gotten better with time.

Sam Cooke - One Night Stand: Sam Cooke Live at the Harlem Square Club, 1963
85

Wonderful live album. It has amazing energy, a consistent track list, and it doesn't overstay its welcome. Not a dull moment.

Eminem - The Marshall Mathers LP
79

While a lot of the lyrics are purely shock value, the hits on here hit REALLY hard. That said, the album would be better if they cut it by about 10-15 minutes.

Moby - Play
75

Pretty solid stuff. Would have probably rated this an 80 or 85 if it were about half the length.

Billie Eilish - dont smile at me
73

Better than her first album, if I'm being honest.

Iron Maiden - Iron Maiden
80

Not exactly groundbreaking stuff, but a pretty great album, nonetheless. Some of the songs end up going nowhere, but it's consistently catchy with fantastic instrumentation throughout.
