Yoo!! @jakedaswag thanks for the rec gng!
While these genres and vocals aren't really my kind of thing, I still found myself enjoying this quite a bit! Mainly the way each song made me feel drowsy, but like in a good way. The kind of drowsy you feel as you drift into daydreaming; a too and frou of almost falling asleep but catching yourself right before. That melancholy feeling really shines on this!
Both "She waits for me" songs are genuinely beautiful, especially the instrumentation on them. Speaking of instrumentation, the pianos throughout this album man.. I love em! Subtlely intimate and sets the mood so well. Some songs did feel a little too long, like "Ghost of you", but thats about the only negative thing I have to say. Overall, this record is an impressive feat, especially for a debut imo :] The production is great as well!! Love me some moody music.
Thanks again for the rec and keep at it! I'd love to see what you make next.
