my old review of this kinda sucked so we changing it
it’s my birthday so we’re listening back to my favorite album of all time. the songwriting and story telling on this album deserves to be taught in a masterclass. this was my first album of the killers i listened to in full and i loved it so much that i listened to everything else! now i’m definitely able to say that they’re my favorite band. the nostalgia i have for this album definitely adds to part of why i love it ... read more
RAPTURE IN MY HEAD 🤯
the end of my declan mckenna dive until he drops again and damn i think this is his best one. i feel like he tends to have songs that tend to feel kinda weak or uninteresting sometimes, or there’s some part in a song that ruins it for me like Sympathy’s weirdass instrumental, this album doesn’t have a lot of that! this album runs pretty consistently fun and just cool. pretty much everything here works on here and it’s a good time. except emily. ... read more
what in the indie/jazz/prog
i did not rly enjoy their debut album, look alive, and bc of that i kinda avoided listening to anymore early eyes. i liked this quite a bit more but i still am not like absolutely insane about it. i think it’s strange and impressive at its moments bc some of this sounds hard to pull off and weird to write but idk i’m just not over all this for rn

wanted to give another shot to this album bc although I liked it, there was a lot of stuff I litterally have no memory some of the material on here.
My opinions did not sway as much as i hope to keep it real. I think I can appreciate this album a little more than I did before. None of this is to say that this record doesn’t have some songs that go extremely stupid tho. Undercover Martyn, This Is The Life, Cigarettes In the Theater and What You Know are all 2010s indie ... read more
they ain’t screaming so much this time.
i think there are some songs off of shed that go a little more crazy than the rest of the others, however, i still enjoyed that album despite not being huge on hardcore. this does it even better! i think this album is full to the brim of moments that better fit the sound that these guys are aiming for but idk, this and shed are two different projects by a band idk much about. regardless, foral green knows what it’s doing and is rly cool bc of ... read more
