Roger Waters - The Dark Side of the Moon Redux
10

I remember listening to this a few years ago. Not going to listen to it again. Just needed rate it as it is an album i’ve listened to. This album is nothing short of embarrassing. Waters trying to hang on to past success. Just utter waffle and weirdness. Terrible.

Iron Maiden - Piece of Mind

this Iron Maiden album is very consistent. The bass lines, the guitar, the vocals they all work together very well. I do enjoy the certain progressive elements in there as well which is definitely different from the other albums they have released so far.

Drake - Thank Me Later
70

A young version of drake creates an album that isn't as consistent as i would like it to be however it has the hits guaranteed with a Drake project. Drake here sounds like has fire in his heart a passion and hunger behind his singy rapping. This album is the shaping and the mold of what drake would become few years later. A worldwide phenomenon.

Brian Eno - Another Green World
80

Brian Eno here is brilliant. At the peak of his powers. Being experimental without being obnoxious. Super interesting sound and melodys here. His best work so far is here. Super innovative.

Disclosure - Settle
50

This is definitely a dance album. Just feels mainstreamy and boring this record. I can understand why it’s so popular. So safe.

Prospa - Free Your Mind
70

An impressive debut with many hits. Very accessible record with a consistent sound. Only way is up for prospa.

Conway the Machine - God Don't Make Mistakes
85

An impressive addition to conways discography. A consistent sound with good story telling and writing sometimes getting real and emotional talking about past traumas. He does all this while keeping that classic griselda mean sound.

Dire Straits - Dire Straits
85

A fantastic debut and a true statement in blues rock. Don’t let the fantastic hit of Sultans of Swing make this album feel like a one hit wonder. This is a consistent and quality album that has a certain swagger about it.

Ian Brown - Unfinished Monkey Business
75

Ian Brown is out of the stone roses and already establishing his own style. Interesting electronic elements and writing here. One of his best works is this debut.

60

a short westside gunn album that has many interludes not much room to be as quality as his other stuff. Some highlights dotted throughout.

Spiritualized - Ladies and gentlemen we are floating in space
90

A beautiful spralling record that sends you to another dimension. Some of the songs here are like non human. Some unbelievable compositions and soundscapes. If you are reading this and have not listened to the album yet please save this album for when you are on a plane. Wish I did that for my first listen of this masterpiece!

Westside Gunn - And Then You Pray For Me
30

A long bloated mess of an album. This is what WSGs best sounds like to people that hate him haha. This sucks. Trap beats? Off the cuff strange features. First 2 songs with conway on both made me think this was going to be another breeze and a pleasurable 75 minutes of music boy was I wrong. I appreciate the risk of going to a trap route trying something new but this is woful. Maybe his worst work.

Drake - If You're Reading This It's Too Late
85

Drakes best work. Rapping at his best ability with great raps and memorable lines. A true cornerstone of the 2010s. This is what people talk about when they say they want the old drake back. He sounds so positive and it feels like he put his heart and soul into this album.

Slipknot - Iowa
75

Dark, heavy and unpolished Slipknot are ruthless here song after song. Proving they are a force to be reckoned with in the early 2000s.

Rage Against the Machine - Evil Empire
85

Rage follows up well after a genre bending debut. This album is hardcore asf. Crazy guitar work from Tom Morello and a rhythm section that provides funk influences and a strong backbone.

Westside Gunn - Hitler Wears Hermes 8: Side B
85

A professional high quality collection of songs. One of WSGs best work on display here. Dark but also beautiful sampling throughout and many quality features all pulling their respective weights.

Westside Gunn - Supreme Blientele
65

This album feels a bit disjoined unfortunately. Radom 1 minute long songs some looping samples that last too long. Maybe i'm being harsh because i've been told how good this album is? WSG has many albums that are MUCH better than this body of work.

90

This album feels prestige. The lush samples and raps. Like walking into the louvre. This album feels so expensive. A true representation of WSG vision and image is on display here.

Conway the Machine - G.O.A.T.
75

A raw and mean mixtape with slow and menacing beats. Conway does the job here on this album. He sounds like a villain. Great features also from rappers that further support this slow dark theme the album has.

70

This album is classic westside gunn short snappy songs with features from some familiar faces. Boom Bap lush sample beats paired with rapping that works like a charm.

"The album cover is a stock image ahaha. Think that speaks volumes on how much effort was put into this album."
