They lowkey hit that note on the first track, thought I was listening to Beyoncé for a second… I really liked a large majority of these tracks and I think it only really suffers when it comes to being a bit repetitive. To expand on the repetitive comment: Some of the drums sounded very similar on multiple tracks and I found a few of the choruses felt a little too long or grating. I was actively shaking my booty with class on this album. So much to love in term of vibes and different sounds. Can’t stress enough how amazing some of the vocals are on this album, both of the vocalist have a very unique sound to them. Somewhat of a personal preference, but I wish the album had some more transitions… Still crazy good though! While I found the album to be a grating on the ears, I still found some enjoyment with the adlibs and occasionally harmony. I don’t like this album at all, but how often can you say an album truly made you laugh?

Truly felt like an epic journey from start to end. Some of the best instrumentals I’ve heard coming out of an album in a very long while. Loved how odd the vocals get sometimes and how they mixed in some outside chatter and noise. In my mind Genesis as a group is easily one of the best sounding bands ever. I always appreciate how unique Faye’s voice is, and I love how effortlessly she can write such sweet lyrics. However, I found this album often came up short because of how repetitive it gets at times. The unique sound is there, but after a while the once beautiful sung lyrics becomes a pain after the endless repetition.
