I think this thing is great, there are some songs that aren’t as interesting as others and the midi brass is a little bit tacky, but for the gosh darn most part, it’s a groovy album with some catchy Melodies and nice sentiments.

I originally had this as a 10 a year and a half ago, but I feel like the first and last track for me personally just don’t pack much punch. Besides in rainbows and kid an are higher up for me.

This album had me by the heart from the first listen. The mix of synth pop, neo soul, prog rock, and countless other genre blending is so eccentric and weird that it sounds impossible to make this incredible.

On top of all this hectic mess of beauty is Mica’s amazing vocal that sits perfectly inside of every mix that is here. It is what captures you in the first moments of the album and keeps you there for the lengthy run time that feels like 2 seconds.

I saw a nearly daffodils performance on YouTube like a month ago or something and thought it was cool and did not realized this was that band until the song came on. This is a really cool project after first listen we’ll see where it goes from here.
