Nothing tops this album for me, or gets me as fired up as this album does, or gets me through the rough patches in my life like this album does. This is peak for me.
Chet's performances on here make my SOUL ACHE!!!!! Easily the most cathartic album in my constant rotation.

Warren Zevon’s firing on all cylinders on this album. An unsung masterpiece. Honestly, it could be even longer, but there’s clearly no fluff on this thing. He’s always got a tight backing band, too, and this is them in their absolute prime. Incredible record.
Songs are great, but totally elevated by Herring’s captivating performances. Deep emotions woven into every lyric.
Really clicked for me after a few hits. That’s Mary Jane, for those playing along at home.
Porter Robinson makes me believe in the indomitable human spirit every time I hear his music, it’s like I always forget until I hear it.
Every track bangs. Also cold take but the version of the album that ends with Radio Radio is the best way to hear this record if you ask me (I’m not usually a bonus track guy but here I must make an exception)
This album has grown on me for years, and I’ve gone from enjoying it to absolutely loving it. So fun and inventive, very hard to believe this came out when it did.
Several moments this had me cracking a smile, either because a line was funny or just because I was so charmed by this. Definitely had moments that made me double-take, but overall an incredibly fun experience. And they got Danny Brown! Wow!
