Absolutely one of the best Japanese albums ever made. The vibe was absolutely everything to me, and the simple melodies and lyrics just make it stick with you. I DO NOT CARE about lack of lyrical depth when we have these amount of hitness and iconery all together. 100 AND IDGAF.
When I first heard it I was like oh absolutely, when I heard it a second time I was like oh absolutely!
It’s fun at times, but it’s just decent. There really is not much going on that makes me go wow. The songs are too long, more than what it can keep up with without worrying me.
It has it’s major gags but come on… it’s like decent leading to good. It wasn’t the best experience and that’s OKAY! Put it on a playlist and that’s it.
This was my intro to Death Grips back when I FLed it. It was actually good! I enjoyed it a lot, it had some chops but I was still actively supporting it. It was a great introduction to them
LORDDDDD. It’s such a cohesive album and it all makes so much sense 🥹. The production is like at the next level, too. There was so much MESSAGE and I know that he had a lot of shit to say and he said it!!!! I absolutely get why this album is so praised. It’s a masterpiece!
not her best honestly. I still liked it it's just not as good as her other work
Best compilation album I have listened to yet. It’s so fun and literally a very catchy listen. I love GFOTY sm, she’s been the queen and LIZ’s ender. Each song is worth many relistens
Oh I absolutely get this!!! Her voice is so addictive to me idk why, the beats are truly amazing and this is like all I would be for. It’s really cool. It just kinda felt repetitive and it got tiring from time to time. Still a good album!!
Okay, I loved it. It’s not as enjoyable as other neoclassical darkwave albums, but it still hits, and I love it for that. It has really good up moments and in general the composition was amazing
It doesn’t stand out to me. I found it boring and that it tries to hard to give you that bumpy feeling. The music is just very crowded to the point it just doesn’t feel like anything.
The first album I listened by her and already felt like crying for some reason… ugh I love her sm. She really goes all out in this album, it’s always astonishing when it comes from her.
One of the best things I’ve ever listened to in my life. I wasn’t aware that this Argentine artist was that breathtakingly good. It felt life-changing. I was never aware I ever wanted to listen to this type of stuff, but Mercedes Sosa and her voice were so touching in a way, and it felt extreme to me, very amusing. I cannot take my mind off of it because her voice and her guitar was absolutely everything to me.
WTH is wrong with the people rating this so low. This shit is so good, and before I listened to this full, no bed for beatle john has been in my repeat for some time now, and for a reason. Yoko's voice is immaculate but still so raw. She is giving all that she had to give and that's what she's been doing. They used all of their iconery for this album and you can tell
I can’t believe the volume of emotions Diamanda Galas was able to express in this album. As an activist herself, she was friends with many people who died during the AIDS pandemic, and the storytelling of this album perfectly encompasses what she was going through while seeing them die little by little. The combination of themes of religion and social perception was something that really struck me. Her screams weren’t just screams; they were charged with meaning. You could feel her ... read more
Oh my God, absolutely astonishing and one of the best pieces I’ve ever listened to. I’m not even joking. I absolutely love it.
I saw everyone like ranking this extremely high and I was like what is happening what does this have that everyone seems to love and then I listen to it first song, absolute gag. I was literally so surprised for what I was hearing and right now I cannot get enough of the sounds. It was making something in my head and I found it extremely astounding and catchy. I cannot get it off my head right now. I love it so much.
