I genuinely think this is dre’s best album. His rapping ability is non comparable to his other album with his most controlled breathe control. The main thing about this album is that it lowered dependence of features drastically. Ofcourse features were also insane, but felt like Dre was the most memorable in almost every part of record. Fucking amazing

First half was one of jid’s best songs of jid’s career. Best ever flows of all time probably comes from here. Westbrook to 151 Rum is my favorite 3 song run in his career. However, after Workin Out, it really feels like it’s dragging. Nothing is actually hitting hard as first half and feels more like a mixtape songs. Hotbox had great features and lyricism, but it really displays how this whole record is not directed in singular focus.

What did I miss was the perfect representation of what this album sounds like. Hard hitting beats or chill ones. This record honesty felt like it was filled up with what Drake does so good, but the same shit he’s been doing over and over in couple years that it got tired, underwhelming, nondistinctive songs with bad narratives of victim cards.
