holy shit thats majestic, reminds me of when dehumanizing itatrian worship go into a brief melodic anime opening style section but for this its the entire song.
Pretty accurate, edge/denial goes on a bit long but it makes sense that it would
It's interesting seeing the similarities between this band and President (that being that they're both masked bands that gained a lot of attention fairly early in their career) and despite this how the general public has favored Angine De Poitrine a lot more because of how they make music that's more interesting and unique.
A really erratic and chaotic album with some strange ambience mixed in, kinda reminds me of trout mask replica if it was cybergrind. Painting a Pig Barn (feat. Ben Levin) and e-Strangelet Pet Blessing (feat. nnirror) are probably my favorite tracks.
the death metal parts are brutal as hell and the avant-garde parts are confusing as hell and yet they still somehow work well together which makes them even more confusing
does a good job at building a really mystical and open atmosphere, also never realised that fidget was from this game until now
I keep forgetting that PxDx did this cover because of how out-of-pocket it feels for a grindcore band to do a cover of a darksynth single but it's not that bad. It felt a bit more on the minimal side of things but tbf thats also how the original song is, I think its just difficult to replicate the ominous atmosphere that the original had using mostly guitars, drums, and vocals.
All I want to say for this is that I've been highly suspicious of AI being used ever since I listened to her other project SICKDIGITAL in December of last year, mostly because of the sheer quantity of music that was released by yamada in such a short time span (sometimes even multiple releases on the same day) and also because the music itself sounds weirdly compressed in the same way that AI music with distorted guitars sounds, I just didn't want to mention anything before on the off ... read more
the person behind cockxmauler returns with a renewed coke-fueled brutality
Cocteau Twins signature style has always been to create dreamy ambient songs similar to many shoegaze bands and they do deliver that with this album quite well, although towards the end of the album it did start to feel a bit repetitive for me but that might just be because I'm more picky towards music like this. I also thought the lyrics and rhythm that their vocalist Elizabeth Fraser sings with were really interesting so I decided to look up the lyrics for some of their songs since I ... read more

Honestly idk what i was expecting this ep to sound like but it definitely wasn't this. Each song on this ep has a really interesting and unique sound that helps them stand apart, there's also a good use of dynamics that make the whole project sound pretty professionally done.
The songs on here are pretty simple but also catchy and the whole album has a nice warm and comforting feeling to it
I like the use of motifs throughout the soundtrack, especially how the one from Kehaar's Theme can be heard faintly in The Escape from Efrafa considering how it ties in with the plot
