A long overdue remake of the original, and while it still feels like it's lacking a few heavier kicks, it's a very solid overhaul at the end of the day that is definitely on par with the original.
A very interesting song as far as the album goes, but the chorus is really fun.
As if the original wasn't good enough, We Butter the Bread With Butter is an upgrade to anything they touch. This song is peak, same with the video.
Another pretty solid single that just isn't very revolutionary, but is still fine.
A little more energetic than some of the other songs, but fails to do anything crazy. Sounds like the vocalist is very past his prime too, although his performance isn't horrible.
An insanely generic album, but a solid one nonetheless. As lead singers age, they tend to lose their fire in a genre that should be as electrifying as possible, and that seems to happen here, but the delivery of the album overall is nothing to scoff at, it doesn't try to reinvent the wheel at all, it just sticks to its guns and does a passable job at it.
(Fun and totally true fact: I was the inspiration for this album.)
First release on Cyduck cause Enigma (the label I used to release on) closed, so yeah.
While some of this album felt a little bit uninspired, this track goes insanely hard.
We Butter the Bread With Butter has quite possibly the greatest music videos ever. Fuck your hippy-dippy cinematography, fuck your emotional deepness, levitating, screaming bread is the way.
Although these guys sound like a Breaking Benjamin clone, they do it in a way to where it's actually interesting and this band offers a great variety of metal in this album. Although some songs definitely have a bit more going for them than others, in the long run, it all balances out and is a nice variety of alternative metal that I'm all here for.
The first 8 minutes hurt my ears, afterwards was somewhat cool, but why is it 21 minutes? It's static for 8 and then what I assume to be slushwave for 13, like dumb the slushwave down to 3 minutes, remove the first part, and you're good.
Major Lazer absolutely MASSACRED this song. Genuinely what is this dude...
I just can't get behind the hate on this one. Sure the lyrics are like the same thing over and over and over again but the vibe is off the charts.
