Aphex Twin is back with yet another befuddling album that I have zero clue how to interpret. It's a bit more focused on flangers and has a slightly more futuristic feel, but some songs are a bit too abstract for me. Acrid Avid Jam Shred, however, despite being very long, is a great balance between coherence and classic Aphex Twin randomness.
Yet another haunting and ethereal track by Aldebrand, where he sticks to his guns and delivers something really interesting.
It's always fun to see an artist's first project, because it's bound to be full with a bunch of unique ideas that really only come to you when you're starting out, and in this EP is that same creativity very apparent. These songs are a very interesting hybrid of electronic and ambient with lots of distorted saws and layered synths, making for a very surreal listen.

A heavy and unrelenting track that adds some insane energy to an already legendary album.
An insanely energetic, polished, and coherent metal track that goes insanely hard and has some legendary drumming.
Labyrinthus Stellarum is back with their sophomore album that showcases everything the band does best: slamming riffs, completely insane drumming, mastercrafted synths and melodies, and an insanely brutal vocalist to go along with it all. Every part about this album hits hard, and it's a venerable project to say the least.
Blitzkrieg is yet another example of the countless bands that the heavy metal revolution has lead to, and while It's not revolutionary, who doesn't love a little heavy metal from time to time? These guys might've not made the most compelling or unique album, but an adequate one nonetheless. The vocalist does sound a little bit bored though.

Legion - 64/100 - Even though the riff seems really off beat, I like it regardless. The vocal performance is ... read more
I've heard that this band is basically We Butter the Bread With Butter before they existed, and I'd say that's a pretty good way to sum them up. This album feels almost a bit too chaotic at times, but that's what gives it its charm. It's unrelenting and brutal, and despite being somewhat unpolished, it's fun and energetic, and that's enough for me.
Not sure why BLURREDMOVEMENT decided to go down this route, but honestly the kicks and synths are decent here, so it gets my seal of approval.
I... I don't even know anymore. Pretty funny though so I'll give it credit for that.
Pretty good song, but it fails to deviate too much from Dr Donk's other stuff very much.
Pretty remarkable considering the often lackluster or underbaked recent performances of TAKTSTÖRER, but the kicks on this one are something else. The synths and vocals also pair really nicely together, making for an emotional vibe but still with techno energy.
"You can have my refridgerator" - Arrows, I guess.
As for the song though, it's pretty standard as far as Arrows goes, but I'm not one for this type of music.
"I bought a toaster and cooked toast in it" - Yuno Miles, apparently.
