God, indeed, did, and despite my overall distaste towards rap, Yuno Miles especially, this song is actually really nice as per the average rap standard.
I have no clue what slushwave is or what this is really supposed to be at all, but if you can get past how repetitive it is, it's a pretty relaxing and cool project. To me though, forest is really a standout track here. It's relatively concise and also has a really nice chord progression.
Does it sound the exact same as everything the band has done for the past like 3 years? Yeah. Is it still really good though? Yeah.
Gets a little old when it's extremely overplayed like it is now, but when I first discovered this song, it was great.
It's taken me absolute AGES to finally get around to it, but I did, so that's gotta count for something. As for the EP though, uhh... yeah, I don't really know what to say. It feels like Leaper Tech pulled 5 all-nighters in a row, did a line of coke, and then booted up FL Studio and just started making the most random stuff you could possibly imagine. This EP needs to be looked at in a really weird angle to see what it's trying to get at.

I honestly don't mind phonk, but this song is pretty mid. The melody transfers over extremely well, but the mixing on this is not very good, and the drums feel a little too loud. The hi-hats are also a little bit crazy especially.
Thanks @brey for the rec
I, for one, often prefer albums without intros and interludes and outros, as it just means I can loop it while skipping the dead parts, but in a few select albums, these tools are used effectively, with here definitely being an example. Fotokorinzu sets a scene and mood of an ethereal sort of future, with complex breaks, unique sound design, and a very complete feeling from front to back. While some songs feel a little too extreme in contrast of the longer, more ... read more
This album is pretty solid all things considered, but Coakira tries to do wayyy too much with some of these songs, meaning a few just come out sounding way too overbaked, but there are some songs on here that make the listen worthwhile.
Again, just pretty disappointing considering the rest of the album, I don't hate it or anything, I just rarely relisten to this song.
Pretty corny lyrics, but the rest of the song is super unique and shows Linkin Park's ability to make a whole slew of different stuff.
Whatever this is, it slaps really hard. It's exceptionally emotional for this period of Linkin Park too, so that's a plus.
Thank you Emily for gracing us with this at Boston, August 1st, 2025.
