A NEW ALBUM EVERY DAY #31
I'm finishing the month with an album I had saved in my library so long ago, and finally gave it a chance today. Overall it's great trip-hop, but it sounds different to what someone would associate the genre with. There are so many different sounds that end up creating a strongly cohesive work.
Favorites:
-Starry nights
-Spooky Rhodes
Rip Laika you will be remembered
A NEW ALBUM EVERY DAY (bonus)
I'm in love with the cover of this ep, seriously, it's the cutest thing ever. The music is overall great but I should probably listen more of him to understand fully the hype.
Favorite:
-The workplace
- Halfway to a threeway
A NEW ALBUM EVERY DAY #30
The glimmering return of Boards of Canada brings us an amazing IDM album that left me pretty much surprised and satisfied, as there are no boring moments there. I'd say I enjoyed the instrumentals much more than the songs with a vocal feature, but simply for personal taste.
Favorites:
-somewhere right now in the future
-deep time
-you retreat in time and space
A NEW ALBUM EVERY DAY #29
Just sounds like basic slowcore to me so not really impressing, except for the last two songs that reminded me a lot of Slint.
Favorite:
-Johnny Bombay

I can't deny that historically this album had a big impact but sorry this is just not for me.
