I am not the biggest "brown" fan, as much as I love Ween.
Let me rephrase that: for what they are, ween's brownest records inhabit a niche in the musical ecosystem that no other band ever has (for will for that matter). With that in mind, I have to sit down for a bit and reflect upon what every one of these early ween albums actually mean to me.

Samurai Champloo brought me here ages ago, and now I am come to pay my respects.
Nujabes, an absolute icon of Japanese hip-hop (and in my opinion the paragon of jazz-rap), in collaboration with Shing02 present an absolute whirlpool of emotion and raw passion in what otherwise may seem like an unassuming piece of media from Japan.
