A masterpiece created by masters of there instruments. It’s 57 minutes of pure grunge brilliance that touches on laynes addiction and feelings of loneliness and hopelessness of getting over his addiction that he wishes he could’ve gotten over but he couldn’t take over the steering wheel in front of him. Songs like “down in a hole” which just show the softer side of AIC but also keeping it appropriately heavy when it’s needed and “junkhead” which ... read more
This is the 3rd sepultura album I’ve listened to and it disappointed me. I saw nu metal and groove metal as the main genres and thought, “yep that’s a bit of me”. I actually don’t know what the singer actually sounds like not screaming and that’s a bad thing for me. It is soooo screamy that (and I’ve said this in multiple metal reviews) it actually hurts my head and I don’t even have it mega loud. I don’t even really get much nu metal out of ... read more
Listened to the beastie boys a year ago and found them boring and repetitive and I’ve found a love for there style and I’ve embraced the repetitive-ness of the sound. It’s influential, it’s cool, and it’s a fucking vibe.

Really happy that they ... read more

I wouldn’t have liked megadeth abt 3 months ago but I’ve grown to appreciate thrash metal and I can see that right now I do like a lot of the genre other than the basic stuff. I’ve also grown to not mind Dave’s vocals that much, they’re bad but I can’t imagine another voice for the band. This album though is what I expected, about the same of entertainment as rust in peace. It’s got some killer riffs as always and I think ... read more
