I'm pretty sure this is the fourth 'Electric Callboy' (then 'Eskimo Callboy') record I've ever listened to. While 'Electric Callboy' (then known as 'Eskimo Callboy') were seasoned veterans by the time this EP rolled out, I do think (and it seems, by the number of plays, that it's a valid observation) that this EP and the following LP ('TEKKNO') has exploded their popularity into stardom for the current generation of listeners. Over hyped and over hated.
This album is not the best sleep token album in my opinion, but it is still pretty good. I am thoroughly confused where the hate is coming from. Huge congrats to the British boys for becoming so big and bringing some much-needed attention to the rock/metal/whatever they are scene.

BABYMETAL is one of the only bright spots in the metal scene. And what I mean by that, is that so much of the music in metal delves into heavier topics (as they are able to do so on an unparalleled level) often leaving a feeling of depression and hopelessness. And here is where BABYMETAL's niche lies. They manage to provide the same musical heaviness but also have contrasting hopefulness and light.

There is a running joke that newer Bring Me The Horizon fans that primarily only listened to 'That's The Spirit' and 'amo' (the softer albums) would go to a BMTH concert and get freaked out after they play something crazy like 'Pray for Plagues' or 'Chelsea Smile' or something.
