Jessie Ware - That! Feels Good!
65

It has solid production and there isn't really anything wrong with it but it doesn't really grab my attention. It works as a cohesive project and is a pretty good listen, but the individual tracks lack distinction and I don't see myself returning to any of these songs. This Was! Fine!

Her's - Invitation to Her's
100

Amazing album that I come back to a lot, every song is so rich and pulls you in start to finish. Their sound is so unique both musically and vocally.
Her's Forever 💐

Weyes Blood - Titanic Rising
96

I mean it completely genuinely and unironically when I say she was so Mother for this

Big Baller B - Aimin My Gun at Yo Son
NR

Timeless classic that I will pass down to my children and to my children's children

System of a Down - System of a Down
80

System of a Down is an overall really solid debut, containing a number of the band's most iconic tracks. It does an effective job of laying down the unique musical characteristics of the band. I think the one drawback is that the production sounds a bit empty at some points, like I wish some things went a little bigger instrumentally, but other than that I think this is a really interesting and engaging album.

Mia Dimšić - Guilty Pleasure
51

It's a fine track, I enjoy the melody. She has a nice voice too but I prefer the Croatian words for this song than the English.

Citi Zēni - Eat Your Salad
84

Musically amazing, cool subject matter, and absolutely so-bad-it's-good lyrics. I love it, it really does it all

Circus Mircus - Lock Me In
69

I think this song is entertaining and fun, but a little repetitive. Overall pretty good

Intelligent Music Project - Intention
12

I really don't like this, sorry. They're great live performers but this sound is just not for me.

Brooke - That's Rich
80

This song is cute and catchy with a really fun delivery. I personally find it to be iconic in fact

REDDI - The Show
48

For a 3 minute track, it takes way too long to build/progress. Otherwise I would like the song more, the passion behind it is really nice.

Andrea - Circles
65

A little lackluster instrumentally but I think she performs the song with great conviction!

Black Country, New Road - Ants From Up There
95

I saw how highly rated this is, so I decided to go into this album having no idea what it was going to be, even the genre or anything. I think that might have added a level of intrigue for me, or maybe this album really is as gripping and satisfyingly enigmatic as it felt for me listening to it today. It tells a pained story, through connected metaphors that offer glimpses into what they're really saying rather than stating them outright, and it's something that I think will really stay with ... read more

Yung Gravy - Marvelous
64

I like Yung Gravy, I think his music is pretty fun and has catchy production, but I think he's more of a singles artist than anything else. Like, an entire album of the type of stuff Gravy puts out just feels like the same thing being done over and over. And sure, It's entertaining enough, nothing utterly unlistenable here. Maybe what I'm about to say is barking up the wrong tree, but I wish we could hear a lil versatility, cause his musical ability and the general swagger and charm of his ... read more

Talking Heads - Talking Heads: 77
77

This is a really good debut album, it feels like a very nice starting place on the journey of hearing all of Talking Heads' music. It has a cozy, simple, and charming feeling and establishes a reliable base for their sound going forward. Very enjoyable.
"Psycho Killer" is probably the most well-known and loved song from this album (which it deserves to be) but I think "The Book I Read" is my personal favorite. They went hard as hell on that song imo

Dio - Holy Diver
50

Now I really am a big enjoyer of classic "cheesy" 80s power metal like this, and I think "Holy Diver," "Rainbow in the Dark," and "Stand Up and Shout" are like, actually phenomenal songs. However, the other tracks here REALLY fall short. The difference in quality compared to them is pretty noticeable: not memorable, not very well-written, and not very fun, and that is like, the entire point of classic "cheesy" 80s power metal to me. So I hate ... read more

The Moody Blues - Days of Future Passed
81

Days of Future Passed is such a pleasant journey to go on. It has some slow moments, and some spoken-word parts that feel a bit out of place for me, but the highs are monumentally high, specifically the absolute masterpieces "Nights in White Satin" and "Tuesday Afternoon." Very soothing with a cinematic feeling.

black midi - Hellfire
77

I really enjoyed Hellfire's creative and unique sound, especially on songs like "Sugar/Tzu" and "The Race is About To Begin." It kept my attention and offered something really special, in my opinion. I would put it higher than this but I don't really think it clicked with me on a deeper level, which I think is personally important in the music that I rate. But it might grow on me, so I think my rating could improve with some time. Really cool project overall.

Daft Punk - Discovery
100

I don't think I have to explain myself any further

Rina Sawayama - SAWAYAMA
84

SAWAYAMA is a personal, unique, and musically transformative work that asserts its own definition of what pop can be and I adore it for that. "XS," "STFU!," "Comme des garçons (Like The Boys)," and "Paradisin'" are my four favorite tracks from this album and all 4 of them prove that She Has The Range
