Rae Sremmurd could fill a whole room with cheers with a single melody. This project was stuffed with eclectic harmonies and unbelievably smooth flows, pure sugar. Not a lot to describe how fun of a listen SremmLife 2 is.

rocky continues to disappoint. i believe there are two versions of this album that were good. one where rocky ditches this false experimentation and drops undeniable head nodder after head nodder, something we know he's capable of from his early work as well as recent hits like Highjack. another where rocky does actually attempt to reinvent himself, where experiment means something other than travis autotune and igor synths. unfortunately, the album we did get was neither, instead a ... read more

An interesting idea, but certainly a step down from Blonde on Blonde (the only other of his works I’ve heard at this time). A self portrait comprised of covers, renditions of earlier works, and standards, is something that really calls to me. I don’t think he gave that idea the attention it deserved, the record feels very formless and much longer than it needs to be for the most part.
