This album is genuinely so incredible it made me retroactively doubt every 10 I've ever given. If I could give this over a 100, I would. I don't think I've ever heard something this beautiful and emotionally resonant. I wouldn't call it all that bad, but every just kinda fades into the background. Lyrics are generic. It sounds nice mostly but nothing was even close to sticking with me.
I remembered not liking this but I can’t imagine why, this is great stuff. Some of the best guitar work I’ve heard in a while.
Solid late-career Yes album, feels more like what I'd want out of a Yes album than anything else I've heard from them since the '80s. I do genuinely like The Ladder and Talk, Talk in particular more than this, but this has more of what I liked about their older work, which I appreciate.
