Damn, it's pretty good. Wilburs lines and the vocals that sing them are a hell of a lot better, the instrumentals go so much harder than they did in past albums, and in general this things a lot more fun! I'm still not the biggest fan of most of the lyrics though. I can only hope that the next album takes what this one did, and makes it even better! And that it's also a full album.
Will 100% be catching their next concert.
It's fine. A little generic, and I'm not a fan of the bridge mainly due to the lyrics, which as a whole is also just fine. Love the instrumental on the Chorus though, definitely a song to put on my playlist of songs to listen to while trying to stay awake.
Hope the rest of the album is a little more interesting and am excited for the next release!
Easily my favourite album of 2022.
The instrumentals are impeccable, Isaac Wood's vocals are outstanding, and his lyrics are emotional and hit you in the gut.
Haunting in the best way possible.
It admittedly took me a few listens for this album to properly click with me, but now that it has, wow. This thing is wonderfully produced with chilling lyrics and a unique story to tell. While I wouldn't say it's my favourite album of the year, this is definitely up there with some of the best.
Edit: I'm changing this shit to a 90, god damn I love this
