So mid, I love Drake but this tracklist is super bloated and his vocal performance is not good. Has some bangers tho.
My least favorite drake album, not atrocious. Like some songs but overall not for me.
This album was my introduction to Jazz music and at first I didn’t really understand what was so great about it but as I listened and as I read up on this album and how it was made it became clear to me.
Music is such an art and it has such an impact on the lives of the people that play/listen to it and I really live this album.
My favorite album of 2025. As someone who loves soul music and lives Giveon, I’m so glad he was able to find this sound with this album. I like his other music don’t get me wrong. I feel like something always seemed a little bit off with his older music and I couldn’t wrap my finger around it, but once I heard twenties and rather be ahead of this release they blew me away. I think both of those songs are in the top 5 in his catalog.
Such a breathe of fresh air for R&B, ... read more
Really like this record, shows growth as a person and his journey to comm get closer to God. As a Christian I really appreciate this coming from one of my favorite artists.
Favorite songs: Moon, Sins of the father, who knows
Love this album, comes years following his controversy and is a good step back into the mainstream. Some absolute bangers in here.
Favorite song: Always
Good record, has some pretty good songs but a decent amount of skips. This also comes during his controversy that kind of sent him into taking a break.
Favorite song: superposition
First and best album, certified bangers and songs that will make you ascend. One of my favorite albums from the 2010s.
Favorite song: Blessed
Not a big rock guy but this is easily one of the greatest and most important albums ever.
Favorite songs: Time, The Great Gig In The Sky.
Everyone talks about Stevie Wonder's 70s run, but I believe that Marvin's 70s run deserves a lot more attention. He just came off What's Going On. The greatest album of all time, and then followed it up with an iconic soundtrack, Trouble Man. Now he comes back with a super sensual and buttery smooth solo album called Let's Get It On.
This album has the grooves, emotions , smooth vocals and good writing that you come to expect from Marvin. One of the greatest albums of all ... read more
In my opinion the greatest album of all time. The story of Marvin Gaye is so tragic and unique. His brother went off to fight in Vietnam during a time in the 70s where police brutality, anti-war protests and cultural issues took over the nation. And what did Marvin Gaye do? He made a concept soul album (something unheard of at the time) and paved the way for most of the rap and soul/r&b that we have heard over the last 50 years. Marvin pushed against the Motown process to release this ... read more
Probably the greatest album of all time, I only say probably because I like What's Going On by Marvin Gaye so much and its hard for me personally to pick one or the other. This album is absolutely incredible on every level, I don't think I can say enough good things about Stevie Wonder.
It is absolutely incredible to me that Stevie Wonder was blind and could have a run in the 70s the way he did. At 12 years old he was deemed as a child prodigy and he lived up to the height. How many ... read more
One of my favorite albums of all time, When I first came a cross the song Pearls a few years ago I thought this was a song made in the2010s or 2020s and was shocked when I found out it cam out in 1992. Sade's voice is absolutely incredible, the writing, instrumentation are perfect and there are absolutely zero low points in the album.
