The album feels like a dream in the early 2000's, nostalgic but sad and elusive.
While the atmosphere is compelling, the production often feels underdeveloped in many songs almost accidental. This leaves even standout songs such as Crimewave, Vanished and Courtship Dating sounding like happy accidents rather than a potential of Crystal Castles' debut album.
