On especially rainy days I like to play this and drift off into a world of colors and shapes. It's glimmering synths and magical vocals carry me off into a place where I don't have to worry or even be. I can just float and admire all of the sounds and colors that pass me by. I know most people don't have that experience with this record, but I do. And everytime I do I wish it would all last a little longer.
Little behind the scenes fact about the album. There was originally going to be another interlude, but it was cut by the record executives. They told Bieber "you can't release an album with a ten minute track of Druski sucking your genitals, coughing, and calling you black." In response, the singer continually asked them if it was clocking to them that he was standing on business.
I'm not exactly proud of myself for actually listening to this. I definitely shouldn't have and I'm frankly sorry I did
I would not recomend it to anyone reading it. It is not worth your time. I've been thinking Ai quite a lot lately, so I decided to at least engage with some form of it. In case you couldn't tell this "band" is completely ai in every way possible. From the promotional material to the release itself there is no human input.

I've been a bit burnt out as of late when it comes to music. I really haven't listened to much new stuff in the past week or two, so I decided to come back to the debut album of what was actually my favorite band for a while. I don't come back to release as often as I should, but everytime I do I remember exactly why I love it , and music in general, so much.
I think I mentioned before how grunge used to be my favorite genre. The reviews where I did aren't very good, so it ... read more
Nick Drake was famously a shy and quiet artist. In spite of his formidable guitar skills he rarely ever played live shows. When I listen to this record knowing it feels like so much more than an expression of that. When he strums his guitar it's as though he's translating his soul into sound, and that's all the album is, him and his guitar. There's a piece of who he was in every lyric he sings. This album is the purest form of art there is: unadulterated exression. In the ... read more
There is not a single joke across this entire eight minute song that doesn't hit. I especially appreciate the fact that it isn't a slenderman vs freddy fazbear where the bit is how unbelievably horrible and edgy the song is. A lot of effort was clearly put into it from the costumes to the vfx. As much as I want to discuss my favorite gags from the song it would be great disservice to my country to spoil anything. If you have not watched this yet you need to now. It is one of the most ... read more
Neil Cicierega is nothing short of an internet legend. He has in hand in so many iconic memes and videos that span from the album being reviewed right now to the first slenderman oc. You probably know this though. Spirit Phone is his latest album as Lemon Demon(he released another mashup album since), and it is easily his best. His style peaks here, with his most catchiest and nerdiest songs yet, which are all built upon the interesting topics he's ever sung about. I remember in the ... read more
Song isn't as bad as people say but actually knowing what it sound like makes the idea of being forced to hear it 21 times over while just trying to eat dinner leagues funnier than it already was
Even if you don't know the name Kevin Macleod, you've heard one of his songs. It's been a while since I've said this: if you have enough experience on the internet to navigate toward niche music review site Album of the Year, you've heard one of his songs. He makes pretty much all of the royalty free music that youtubers use, but listening to this album specifically you would probably only recognize one song.
It's actually quite impressive, given that this album ... read more
