Meh. There are better indie albums from the 2000s. I don't think anyone would really be incorrect for liking this album. It's just okay.
This is better than three cheers. It doesn't have the substance of black parade, and instrumentaly isn't as punk as three cheers, but I like it. It's really just a fun jam, I think the only reason it gets flac is cus MCR was a loaded band with no specifically bad album.
Meh. I think both black parade and danger days are better. They improved with this one, but they didn't perfect anything. Don't get me wrong though, some of these songs honestly slap, but only some. This album could've done better as an ep honestly.
One of the greatest rock operas of all time. It's a classic and most people would know what makes its so good.
There are some genuinely catchy tunes on this album, but they get interrupted by a lot of fluff that could be done without. There's a good handful of songs that serve zero purpose to the album.
I consider this album on the same plain as let it be. They were both solid albums, but they weren't as innovative as wgat the band would do at the peak of their career.
This was an interesting debut for pink floyd. This was definitely caused by syd barret taking the place as front man before roger waters took over. It hard to describe how weird this is among their other albums, just listen to it.
Pretty meh for a beatles album. Not bad as a send off to the band though. They were fresh off abbey road they didn't really need to innovate to make a good album.
I don't really listen to this as much as his other projects, and I honestly think I should listen to it more. It's got everything you could want from a jazz emu album. The funk and comedy rarely miss with this one. Some of his most memorable songs too.
This is kind of weird, even for jazz emu. There are a lot more serious songs on here than his usual albums, but it creates this whiplash effect when you go between silly joke songs to everlight then back to the funny stuff.
Pretty underrated for a beatles album. I prefer other albums, but this has some incredibly catchy and fun tunes.
Definitely second or third best floyd album. Shine on you crazy diamond us really the big event song of this one. It feels like monument to everything they missed and didn't miss about syd. I also can't forget how insane the bass on have a cigar goes. Really the only thing holding it back it my eyes is how good animals is.
There's not a lot to talk about with this one. It's just a really relaxing hour of sound.
This album is not a casual listen, if you couldn't tell that already by the fact its just one 63 minute song. It has this very wide and open soundscaoe that makes it a very relaxing listen. I would 100% recommend of you need something to entertain you for an hour.
Rest in peace. DOOM really deserved better than what happened before this. The lo-fi production really sets it apart from his other projects. Right off the bat DOOM was setting himself apart from the competition too, the flow is just as potent as any of just other albums.
This album is a big conceptual improvement from clown circus, but instrumently it caries the same garage band lo-fi production.
