it took a few listens, but with the actual album and the arg happening around the time of release, i find this to be a fascinating piece in the nine inch nails discography. trent focuses the anger he has reserved usually for himself onto the current (at the time) socio-political landscape of the u.s government, creating a world dominated by a christian focused regime with its citizens being drugged through the water supply (sounding relevant to anyone else?). the soundscapes on this album are ... read more
