 - Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers

Oklama trades blows at the peak of his powers and delivers yet another stifling piece of art. He muffles redundant expectations by summoning vulnerability and controversy to the stage more often than ever.

The album’s musical foundation is grounded as it is monstrous, stepping in and out of different spectrums and styles in the most Kendrick way possible. The recurring presence of piano arpeggiation and potent key stabs send chills down your spine and create a cohesive setting for the ... read more

Most atrocious collection of hooks I've ever heard on a rap album in the last 5 years. I won't even discuss the production and lyrics
 - It's Almost Dry

This LP isn't as concise or grandiose as it's predecessor but enjoyable nonetheless. Push ventures through the carefully curated but effortlessly glossy beats with new found cadence and pride but the lack of consistency and precision sells the potential short, I expected more from this. On most tracks Push's eerily monstrous and infectious grit that we've become so accustomed to throughout the years gets swapped out and shelved in order to make room for accessible, humorous but unfulfilling ... read more

 - 22, A Million

With a runtime of under 40 minutes, 22, A million is undoubtedly one of the most expansive and endearing LP's of the last decade, in my opinion one of the greatest 40 minutes art pop has to offer. Vernon's tonal grandeur and adventurous production techniques launch themes of love, self-awareness, unquenchable longing and fear of not attaining perfection into the stratosphere. Vernon's obssesion with dashing vocal sample chops with industrial sawdust is quite unique. Subtle ear worms such as ... read more

Hi there and thanks for following me back!! Recently I got a feeling that there is like A LOT of artists that I'm sleeping on - so I'm trying to make a list of interesting artists that didn't have a chance to get to international/mainstream level. Maybe someone you know just because they're very local/based in the city/country you live in? or maybe someone who you just randomly know and is criminally underrated. And maybe someone really good and well-known in your country but who just couldn't reach international public? (for example I'm Polish - most of the artists sing in polish so they don't stand a chance to be known internationally). Let me know if you have any ideas, and have a great day! :))
