this album was good and FUN and idgaf!!!!! yes there are definitely cringe moments but even those aren’t as bad as people are saying. a great pop album and amazing experience when you don’t have some dog barking in your ear about how much they hate it
the first section of this album would be my favourite track run from her. big deal through to talk has some of my favourite songs from her especially the songs just mentioned. however, the latter half of this album tends to lose me a bit. it’s not nearly as engaging or fresh as the first few songs in my opinion which is what really holds the album back for me.
the main strong points of this album lies in the first and middle sections. these include some really high high’s such as event of a fire, 23 is a baby and t&a. however, from change onwards the songs tend to feel a bit uninspired and repetitive which is disappointing considering how strong the first half is. still a great sophomore album regardless i really enjoy listening to it
such an incredibly strong debut project standing out mainly for its raw lyricism. not a single miss on the standard or deluxe and includes some of my all time favourites (joiner, salad).
not too big on this album from her i don’t tend to revisit it as much as i would her more recent projects. not bad at all just not my favourite
