This was not only my favorite album of 2022 but also one of my favorite albums ever. The entire experience from start to finish is perfection, I didn't even expect to enjoy this album much going into it as I wasn't much of a fan of their previous release and was overall moreso indifferent than excited when this came out expecting it to be just as boring. But holy shit was I wrong, this is flawless music I honestly have nothing bad to say about it musically it's amazing on every front, and ... read more
Hi all! Before I actually talk about this album I'd like to talk about how This will be my first review in almost three years! I went through a very rough period during that time and lost all interest in most of my hobbies including music, but things have been much better recently and I decided to start fresh on one of my favorites places that being this site. Music is my favorite thing in the world and I love talking about it to anyone who will listen so hopefully this will be the first of ... read more
A shift back to the more electronic sound of earlier projects, this album is definitely an improvement in that style. Not a whole lot to say honestly this album while really enjoyable just kinda floated out of my brain as soon as I finished it. As a whole i wish it was more memorable but is still a pretty decent album.
This is hands down the best anco album yet, such an amazing blend of folk and psychedelic music to create a very unique album if there's one compliment I can give all their music so far it's that I've never heard anything that sounds like them. Even the vocals this time around are great adding more layers to this already dense album. Definitely a worthwhile experience and one I might actually have to listen to again because I feel like there's so much more I can get from this album.
This one's fine not really much to say about it honestly, it's a decent sort of ambient thing I didn't hate listening to. Most of my problems stem from just not enjoying this style of music but really it's a nice listen that I probably won't come back to again.
Finally I can say I actually enjoyed this one. The band follows up the terrible danse manatee with a much more interesting and chilled out folk sound, it definitely lives up to the title campfire songs as it sounds like something I would hear sitting around a real campfire. The only downsides here are the vocals which I'm still not really a fan of and the length of the songs which could definitely be trimmed down a bit so they don't drag as much. But overall it's a pretty good album and I hope ... read more
This albums bad not just because of the migraine inducing sounds but because it's so mind numbingly boring, It's like staring at a wall for an hour but your spinning around the room the whole time while doing it. Multiple songs stretch over the 8 minute mark for no reason whatsoever, seriously they could have cut them down to three minute songs and it might have made them somewhat bearable. Absolutely abysmal album almost nothing likable here unless you like nausea.
After hearing alot of great things about this band I decided to check out their debut album and I do not get the hype. I'm not saying this is bad it's just really not for me, I found the vocals obnoxious and the grating noisy sound absolutely headache inducing. It wasn't all bad though as I thought the song penny dreadfulls was really great and some of the tracks towards the end were pretty good too, overall not something I think I'd be coming back to but I am interested in checking out more of ... read more
(Kanye West part 11)
So on this time around kanye went off the deep end and decided to make a gospel and worship album, which in theory could have been very interesting seeing as how he's experimented with the genre on previous albums but it's not. Instead we get what is easily the worst thing kanyes ever done full of terrible and cheesy lyrics, and some awful production choices like the cheap synths for the song on god, the nasally unfiltered vocals which sound terrible on god is, and that ... read more

An amazing collaboration between kanye west and kid cudi this feel so full despite being only 23 minutes long. Both artist truly shine but cudi steals the show here with some of his best vocals ever on this album. Every song is amazing especially reborn wich is one of my favorite songs ever, lyrically this album delivers great themes of overcoming depression or addiction and finding new meaning in life. Definitely one of the best albums in both artists discographies and one ... read more
(Kanye West part 9)
A decent kanye project, does have a few problems though the short run time doesn't give most songs enough time to do anything interesting and some of the lyrics.. let's just say they're not up to kanyes standard lyricism. But it does have some highlights ghost town is an excellent song with an amazing feature from kid cudi wich serves as a precursor to kids see ghosts. And no mistakes has some really solid songwriting. As a whole though definitely one of my least favorite ... read more

And here we have my personal favorite kanye album life of pablo, on this project kanye cranks up the grandiose nature of previous albums to a whole new level bringing in a wide variety of features that just add another amazing layer to this album. Lyrically it's probably kanyes most personal album discussing many subjects from the dichotomy between the god loving family man he aspires to be, and the vain pleasures of man loving narcissist that he is. To his his distaste for ... read more
(Kanye West part 7)
Kanye decides to follow-up his masterpiece with an interesting left turn. Venturing into the realm of industrial for his loudest and most abrasive album ever, the hedonistic lyrics and aggressive sound make for one of the most interesting kanye projects sonically. Overall one of the most captivating listens so far.
(Kanye West part 6)
Decent collaboration album, nothing really stands out here and it feels like little effort is being put in by both kanye and jay-z. First four tracks are good but nothing else was of interest to me definitely a weak album from both parties involved.
(Kanye West part 5)
I mean come on what am I supposed to say about this album you already know it's a masterpiece. So let me just say that this is the best use of samples in all of music.
(Kanye West part 4)
I mean I get that this is super influential to alot of modern music but I thought this was very bland. Lyrically it's pretty good, but sound wise I'm just not a fan of the minimalist auto tuned crooning style of music here. Maybe it'll grow on me but for now probably my least favorite kanye project.
(Kanye West part 3)
This albums just alot of fun. Seriously just a upbeat fun album to listen to, some of kanyes best sample work is on here and best choruses too, even the bad songs aren't even that bad (you know which ones). Also this album has this very nostalgic vibe to it which is wierd since I was barely even alive when this came out.
(Kanye West part 2)
On his follow up album kanye takes everything good about college dropout and crank it up to 11, seriously nothing bad to say about this one. Everything works so well here together from the flawless production which is even better now with the addition of strings which add a whole new level to the sound. The skits are actually pretty funny this time adding some levity to the lyrics which take on a bit of a darker tone this time around. Overall one of the best kanye west ... read more
(Kanye West part 1)
A very solid debut from one of the most important rappers in music history. I thought it was a bit too long and could have done without most of the skits. But its also home to some of the best kanye tracks such as jesus walks and we don't care, production wise this albums immaculate every beat and sample is beautifully placed and it makes for a very enjoyable listen. There are some weaker tracks here such as new work out plan and breathe in breathe out, but overall pretty ... read more
