diss is diss but the beat is great as fuck, everybeat switch and line, its just great
its aight, first 2 songs is kinda meh and forgetable, mainly because of the mix, everything sounds so low volume.
it picks up on situationships and i fucked with sneaky link but idk how to feel bout the second half because again, the beat is so low volume and some parts of it hes singing off key + the 808 barely have any presence.
the second half is way better, the mixing is on point and he flows well but the beats are just the usual pluggnb stuff you expect, and him being a big rapper i wish ... read more
im just gonna say this, if you signed and have a budget please get a someone to mix your vocals
its not that bad, some good songs, some good beats, but i feel like anyone on the underground over these beats would've sounded better
as always, s/o to the producers, they never get enough credit on this rancid industry
this is music made by the creature in the cover, he made it and its his first thing, be nice to him please, hes very sensitive.
its fun to listen to as a novelty i guess, something about this project is very attractive in the dumb side of my brain, but like i can admit there are unlistenable moments in here, sorry bubbo.
beh, got into this in my goth phase, i didnt rly get into much metal back then so i didnt have any idea on what was good and what was generic and meh, so for me this band was awesome as a kid but now as a 19 yr old woman its like, fine? inoffensive.
some good riffs, some good rhythms, some cool growls, but its pretty hit or miss with me, songs go on for too long and i personally kinda dislike melody death metal so those parts turn me off.
they seem like that kind of band that you either LOVE ... read more
maybe its nostalgia speaking but this one kinda holds up
kinda corny and whimsical but theres a charm to it
on - Only God Can Judge Me and More
part of this is me being a contrarian asshole, but otherwise i have to admit this was a super formative listen as a younger, and its hasnt grown off yet, all the time i relisten to this i like it a bit more, because now that im older i can relate to the lyrics and the raw amateurish playing and production, not the mention its got some of the most memorable ajj lines and choruses.
also, the catharsis of this album feels alot more potent to me and i don't ... read more
my favorite band as an angsty teenager anarchist is back and this time they made an album that doesn't make me embarassed to say "ajj is my favorite folk punk band". so im buckleing my shoes because im ready for people to call me a "soycuck 💀 (insert elitist term here)" like its 2016 and i just said i use tumblr from time to time.
granted, they really aren't my favorite honestly, ever since i matured and started listening to more folk punk i realised that they don't ... read more
it doesn't jump at you like some other jersey club stuff i heard but i won't lie this is super comforting and nice to have on the background, also listening while smoking
i swear i downloaded this on soulseek with a totally different track listing and its even better that way, i feel like anima intentionally made the tracklisting this way to kinda confuse people, the album is still great
oh yeah, this shit is fucking fire, defined millions of millenials's taste in music and turned many of them into pseudo-goths, but fuck it this shit is awesome, probably the best selection of tracks for a movie i've ever heard.
donnie darko has this face of being "film student's first abstract movie", people say it didn't age well or that when looked into its shallow, but fuck i still love the shit out of that movie. its so moody and depressing, and type of depressing thats hard to explain, plus its imagery is so interlinked in my brain, i don't give a fuck if it doesnt make sense, i just like looking at it.
with all that said the soundtrack is really good, it contributes to the movie's mood and ... read more
yall needa listen to this, yeah its long and i feel theres some songs that could`ve been trimmed down or cut but this shit unique af
