all the little strange embellishments and experiments grow on me more and more with every listen, so fun and pretty and addictive

maybe their best work, i liked the staggered release but shoulda been an album, deserves more recognition as a whole project

so many great, soulful southern and west coast tracks. why does kal banx not rap more? his raspy voice is so great and his little feature on smino’s luv 4 rent is so catchy. very ambitious debut and usually put off by albums this long but it mostly works!

i kinda find a few of these songs pretty annoying, idk maybe it will grow on me, feel like i’m missing something

first track is gorgeous

deserves your attention if you’re into the music of massive attack, the prodigy, gorillaz, slowthai.. they definitely wear their 90s influence on their sleeve but it’s just so good and still feels very deki alem if you’ve been following them for a while
