Naomi Scott - F.I.G
80

such a well crafted album. didn't think it would be this solid! I've been in love with Naomi's music since Smile 2 and while this is something much different, I love to see and hear it. She did her best.

Ava Max - KiLL iT QUEEN

Madison Beer - locket
85

Oh my god, I'm finally reviewing Madison's new album??!????! I expected nothing more than a good complex of ballads and bangers from this album. What did I get? The perfect variant of it. As a long time, passionate fan of Madison's, she never made a bad record - moreover - a bad album. All I can say is that Madison is one of a kind and this record is just proof. 'locket' may need a few more listens for me to actually fall in deep love with it, but I always feel a strong ... read more

5 Seconds of Summer - EVERYONE’S A STAR!

Two days later, ready to review this album.
It's my first album era as a 5SOS fan and I'm so damn grateful I get to experience this one.
The released singles were very promising and I've had every song on repeat. This made me almost sure the album would be their best and would top my list this year.
After the first full listen I had really mixed feelings - not in a bad way. I really liked the record but I was unsure if it was as good as people were making it.
Two days passed and ... read more

Katy Perry - bandaids

she's slowly saving herself

Doja Cat - Vie
78

It would be kind of disrespectful to say that Doja's back, but... she is? This is what we anticipated and wanted. Her last album was really good too, but this? This is much better. The production is really based on 70's & 80's which works perfectly for Doja in my opinion. I was worried about its length, but every track is an absolute banger and it's practically skipless.

Taylor Swift - The Life of a Showgirl
80

Here it is. TS12. I think we all expected something different for this record since the goat 1989 producers came back to make it with Taylor, but... it isn't kind of it. Is the album bad tho? Absolutely not. I was surprised by its sound that could be said feels like reputation and Midnights combined, but I love it. I totally don't get the album's low score, it deserves a lot more, since it sounds really good even tho it wasn't what fans & the public expected. I'm in ... read more

Zara Larsson - Midnight Sun
75

I honestly never doubted Zara when it came to making hits, because her pop sound is undeniably good, but on this album it's not here - maybe that's what makes this record much better? The singles she released before were incredibly catchy (especially the lead) and I hoped for the same vibe on the whole album. I am definitely not disappointed, but what I want to say is some songs sound really alike. It may be just because of the first listen. I'll keep on listening of course, but ... read more

twenty one pilots - Breach
80

I know their hits, but never had an occasion to listen to a full record of theirs (throw the tomatoes). I didn't think I'd listen to this one at all, but since many artists released albums today too and I did listen to them, I decided to listen to "Breach" as well as many of my friends liked this album & are fans of TOP. Let me say - wow? As much as I'm 50/50 with Radiohead and Weezer, this time alternative and indie rock hits different for me - just better. Some ... read more

Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Perimenopop
65

I can't deny, I know Sophie from MOTD and never listened to any other song of hers before it went viral in 2023, but I decided to wait for this album to see what's it going to feel like. Well, it's definitely not bad, because the production's nice and lyricism playful and cheeky, but all these songs unfortunately sound practically the same for me and I doubt it's going to change after a few listens. Sorry not sorry.

Mimi Webb - Confessions
85

I've been a huge fan of Mimi since her debut album, which I fell in love with pretty quick. It's been a long time since then. She's firstly released three singles, that I thought and hoped would be on her sophomore record, but unfortunately she scrapped the previous concept along the songs. I still knew she'd bring something strong to the table and hell yeah, she did!!! "Confessions" is a huge step up from her previous record that was already pretty mature. ... read more

JADE - THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY!
90

been a fan of Little Mix for a while years ago and I've also been following JADE's solo career since its very beginning. I knew she would eventually become a bigger artists and release amazing music (what also included releasing a great solo album). damn I can't put to words how good this project is. the first three singles already proved me it would be, but THIS good? unbelievable. we need more projects like this - vulnerable, creative and poetic but still really upbeat and ... read more
