I consider myself to be a Noctourniquet defender. A Noctourniquet meatrider, if you will. I don’t play when it comes to The Mars Volta’s different sounds… but I don’t really like the sound of this album. I get the druggy atmosphere that they’re going for but the end result just feels really… off? It’s definitely more Volta than their previous album but it also doesn’t really feel finished.

An incredibly cinematic final chapter for Abel’s run as The Weeknd. Definitely an ambitious way to go out. Lots of bangers.

I have enjoyed every Linkin Park album up to this point, but I didn't have the highest hopes for this comeback. Overall it's a very disjointed collection of nods to their previous albums. Three of the singles were pretty fire, but everything else is just fine at best.
