This album definitely loses its charm towards the end, I feel because of monotonous. With that being said, the start to this lp is really good with “standing on the shore” being its first song. I remember my father playing this album only at the beach, and this album feels just like that, a trip to the beach.
Didn’t really find myself connecting with this project as much as I wanted to, but it still had some bangers.
The single had me hoping that the album would continue the same level of quality, but that unfortunately wasn’t the case.
I’m still in my early stages of life, and every time that I listen to this album again I find myself to appreciate the writing more and more as I continue to learn in this game called life. This project just kicks so much ass, and I love it. Absolutely worthy of the praise!
This just established Kanye as an icon for many. Enough said, it’s near flawless.
An absolute letdown. After an amazing single, and years of experience, you would think by now joji has what it takes to make a good album finally right? Nope. I put this on when I’m tired and feel like listening to sad boy music, and for that I won’t give it a complete 0. Outside of this instances however, I don’t listen to this project during any other time of the day.
