Chantel Davu - Time Zone
93

This song deserves more attention. Chantel Davu deserves more attention. This song is soo good. I found it in a Carti playlist and it blew me away. It has a dreamy drill beat with beautiful keys and screeching synths. Davu SLIDES on this with the adlibs and background vocals. This dude's got something. he is gonna be successful soon and ill be here with the "told you so" face.

THIS. MORE OF THIS. ENERGY IS HERE.
Wish it was longer. Always feels like we are getting a teaser whenever Ken Drops.

Kendrick Lamar - GNX

Fun lil album. Straight forward for the most part which is what i expected. This is almost EXACTLY what i wanted from Kendrick after an album like Mr Morale. It reminds me of what Denzel Curry did with dropping a very personal album with Melt My Eyes, then dropping a turn up album with KOTMS.
I love Mr Morale but there is so much to unpack with that album and it isn't a fun listen (its still incredible). This album you can put on repeat with no issues.
The only track i didn't like ... read more
