The mixing on this is top tier and the renditions are outstanding. Kinda feels like Vernon wanted to give some love to his lesser known work by showing how full and rich they are in a live setting and I think that rocks.

Significant step down from the previous two releases. I was hoping for something brash and rousing and yet the only consistent experience while listening was forgetting that I had it on. Even a step down in cover art; why is the fire casting a shadow??

The definitive “middle of lockdown” album. Stayed up till 6am many a time listening to this. What a time.

Gradually became one of my favorite albums of last year. The whiney, creaky vocals and twangy instrumentals sound like a great hangover if that makes sense. Like playing on a rusty playground with your friends at 2am after a few too many drinks.
