Staples has made yet another amazing album. his lyricism and flow are great as always, commenting on multiple different political and/or personal issues in a way that is beautifully written & easy to understand. The only slight flaw for me is that the production sounds a little bit overdone, but even still Staples a 2026 highlight
Don't tap the glass is a short & catchy album but for the most part it just doesn't stick with me
Chromakopia is one of if not Tyler's most interesting album, he manages to execute a completely different idea in every song with all sorts of stories and concepts. My main critique is that (imo) they don't tie together all that well. The track listing is really gnarly, for example like him and balloon are some of my favorites from the album but going straight from the emotional peak of the album to the most playful and fun song on the album is deeply unserious to me. Tyler's most consistent work, everything compliments each other so nicely and his storytelling is so much better
