Its been like 2 months since I've listened to any music at all, but here we go again
This is my first Sinead O'Connor album, and I really know absolutely nothing about her, so I went in totally blind. That all being said, I'm quite a fan. Its short, its to the point, and it kinda has something for everyone. Black boys on mopeds is heat.
I went into this knowing pretty much nothing about the band or the album, and my what I fun time I had. I'm starting to get the feeling that I'm a really big blues fan. Suprisingly maybe, I'm not crazy into Start Me Up, but all of this album is just really solid. (Tops is a strong favourite atm though).
Although Ziggy Stardust is probably more coherent, this is a lot of fun - you can feel the David Bowie goes to America and just gets his boots blown off energy.
It took me way too long to get to this. I'd honestly say it's my favourite dylan album so far. (sure there are a couple of skips, but songs like memphis blues again or visions of johanna make up for it and then oh so much more)
It feels a lot smoother than all the Dylan albums I've listened to before - less rambly and more pop if you will.
